Your story.

Every family has a story that is unique to them. I love that I can help to record a tiny little part of it. This story is about a little boy who loves running around. A lot is happening in his life - he will soon become a big brother and this summer his grandma came for a visit. And these photos will help to remember that time in his life.
I love how big his eyes got when he was climbing the tree:

A hug for grandma!

Lovely summer light!
What is your family's story right now?

Simplicity...

It's been a few very busy weeks for me - lots of work despite the cold weather. This is from a session I'm editing right now. I like bright, vibrant and colourful, but nothing beats a nice and simple black and white image. A beautiful mum-to-be helps as well :)

Family mini-session in bluebells in Bristol

So, it's not a secret the weather has not been that great recently, which is not ideal for the bluebells sessions - definately no bare feet and no short sleeves. But we were lucky enough to have a gorgeous sunlight and the showers have started just half an hour after we finished....
I think it's one of my most favourite sessions to date. But let me stop and show you why.

How beautiful is she? Love how carefully she is holding her bouquet:

A lot of elegance from somebody who is a very active and fun girl!

And the very last one showing that the lovely lively girl is going to become a big sister soon! Such a great time to have a session, before 3 become 4. It's a very special time for a family and I think it was a great idea to have a session at this time. And my little helper decided to get her own camera out and take her own photos as well. I am yet to see her version :)

I really had to make myself to not post the entire gallery here, I do love all the images that much, but will leave the mum and dad to share it with their family and friends.
If you would like to have a minisession in bluebells (which will probably last for less then 2 weeks now!) and be put on my waiting list for when the rain goes away, please contact me via my e-mail tamara@tphotography.co.uk or through the contact form on  www.tamaratoveyphotography.co.uk

Birthing shirt

I'm very much behind on blogging so I will start with the most recent sessions. Last weekend I had a session for Lindsey from the Birthing shirt company . All I can say I wish I have found out about it a year earlier! I won't be showing you my after birth photos that's for sure! I ended up buying a cheap nightie from Primark but it was too short to walk around without anything else, looked ugly and I wish had poppers instead of buttons and more of them for better access for breasteeding. Lindsey has really thought everything out and her attention to every detail is amazing. She is an Architect after all! Very good access for breastfeeding, a lot longer than a regular t-shirt (did I mention I wish I've known about the birthing shirt a year ago?!), lovely soft bamboo fabric. And looks nice!
But I will let you see for yourselves:

And a matching headband:

It was nice to work with Lindsey, to try and get the images she wanted so those who buy it can see what it looks like on a pregnant model. And if you are expecting or know somebody who is, it would make a fantastic gift. And even though it's called a birthing shirt, it can be used during pregnancy and after birth as well so totally worth the investment.

34 weeks...

I've been so busy recently with no time to blog! Going to bed after 1 am for the last couple of weeks have not been easy. When I'm done with everything I have a couple of amazing sessions to share. But for now... 34 weeks pregnant me. (Can't you tell I just "love" to be on the other side of camera! :))

Gorgeous mum-to-be

I had a session with absolutely beautiful mum-to-be almost a month ago. I rarely have a maternity session so it was very nice to meet with this fantastic couple who were up for anything. It was a great time to get creative and A. has definately made my job so easy! I will stop writing and and post some photos, so you can see what I mean!
