Our celebration of the Queen's Diamond Jubilee

Every little girl of a certain age that I know dreams about being a princess. I have one of those, well, with her younger sister copies everything she does, makes them 2! She loves watching princess cartoons when her mean mum (me!) lets her once we are done with our endless activities, Mulan being current favourive for the last couple of months. She knows what colour hair and eyes every Disney princess has, and never misses an opportunity to show off her tiara, wear beads, bracelets and rings and of course sparkly shoes! So I knew my little creative session would be very welcome.
Seeing lot of bunting everywhere has created a lot of questions so I have tried my best to explain to my little princess what will be celebrated very soon and she is very excited about the coronation and the Queen.

Family session, horses, caves and .. bluebells again!

Where do I even start!
I wanted to share some highlights from a session I had recently. The family wanted it to happen in one of their favourite places to spend time at. The mum has done an amazing job coorditating everyones outfits. We were super lucky to have sun, not rain, though it was still rather chilly! With all those things aligning perfectly I was able to focus on the beautiful family connections. But I feel I need to step away and let you enjoy the story.

More bluebells!

It's been raining non stop recently, so pretty much every outside session that happened was almost like a miracle! So was this one. We have been on standby, constantly checking weather forecast, hoping for a sunny day. Or at least for a part of a day to be sunny! It was so worth waiting... We even found a dry path to stand on without the wellies. Stunning bluebells, gorgeous mum with a beautiful girl whose eyes matched the colour of bluebells.

Again, had to really restrain myself from posting the entire gallery! So many of the images that I LOVE. Almost the same place as the shoot from the previous post but very different images. This is some kind of girly heaven - girls in lovely dresses picking pretty flowers. But I promise you I'm editing a session with a boy in it.

So, it's not a secret the weather has not been that great recently, which is not ideal for the bluebells sessions - definately no bare feet and no short sleeves. But we were lucky enough to have a gorgeous sunlight and the showers have started just half an hour after we finished....
I think it's one of my most favourite sessions to date. But let me stop and show you why.

And the very last one showing that the lovely lively girl is going to become a big sister soon! Such a great time to have a session, before 3 become 4. It's a very special time for a family and I think it was a great idea to have a session at this time. And my little helper decided to get her own camera out and take her own photos as well. I am yet to see her version :)

I really had to make myself to not post the entire gallery here, I do love all the images that much, but will leave the mum and dad to share it with their family and friends.

Announcing bluebells mini sessions!

As a photographer, I constantly check weather forecasts, look at the sky to see sun position and cloud movement and am very aware of what flowers are blossoming at the moment. Beautiful daffodils are everywhere at the moment, just seeing them brightens up my day, but what I’m really looking forward to is the bluebells!

So what we have – a very limited time I have for sessions due to my wonderful little children who need my attention and a short time of bluebells blossoming. So ... a perfect time I had some mini sessions!

 Here is the deal. We go to a very magical spot at Bradley Stoke area which I have discovered 3 years ago and love shooting at. Mini- sessions are only 30 minutes and run in one location, you will have around 10-15 images in your online gallery to choose from. As opposed to my usual sessions are around 2 hours and we change a few locations (within walking distance), and normally around 30-40 images in your online gallery.

It’s a good chance to try what is this on location lifestyle photography all about, to update your family photographs (or just your children’s for the parents who don’t want to be photographed).

Bluebells Mini sessions

When – 21st of April

30 minutes long

Only 4 time slots available: 9.30, 10.15 (now booked), 11.00, 11.45 am

£150 per family for which you will have:

-      Email/phone call consultation with me, where I find out things I need to know about your family before I photograph you all and where I give you tips on how to prepare for the session to get the best out of it, including what to wear;

-      30 mins mini session in a gorgeous bluebells location;

-      the results of your session in secure online gallery with 10-15 fully images to choose from;

-      3 of the images that you choose printed up to size 6x9” and the same images on CD in high resolution (which alone makes it an extremely good deal as my usual price for 1 high resolution image is £50).

50% deposit will be required to secure your time slot. In case it rains, you will have a choice of either rescheduling or having a refund. But fingers crossed, it will be nice and warm!  And if it’s cloudy – it’s even better!
