Half term ideas!

Just a couple days left before the half term is over, and just in case you have run out of ideas, here are some of our favourites to do in and around Bristol:

1. Bristol Museum and Cabot tower just around the corner.

2. A train ride to Temple Meads, Millennium Square, M-shed and there is a very cool pirate ship called Earl of Pembroke right next to it. We have even managed to find the plank :)

3. If you want to avoid the crowds - 365 steps in Wales - look out for a car park on the road between Chepstow and Tintern. The car park on the right if you drive from Bristol, around 0.5 miles away from St Arvans. It's a great walk in the stunning magical old woods and a great view from the Eagle's Nest is a reward for all those steps! And if you drive a little further, Tintern is a lovely place as well, even if you don't go into the Tintern Abbey...

4. And for all the dinosaur fans - fossil hunting at the Aust cliff - one of our favourites!

5. Of course there is also Westonbirt Arboretum and Slimbridge for the more well known places to go to! And we really have enjoyed Birdland in Bourton-on-the-Water, because of the penguins...

More buttercups!

I'm super excited about all the sessions in buttercups that are coming up, so we went to check them out and they are great and more on the way! If you would like to have a photo session with your child with buttercups in Bristol, please contact me asap, I only have one weekend availability in May and 2 in June!

Buttercups!

I always get inspired by what I see outside... Not that the bluebells are over, it's on to the buttercups! And they are so beautiful, especially in the evening sun. Also, I have just 2 weekend session openings available for May - evening of the 23rd of May (Friday) and morning of the 24th of May (Saturday). Blossom

Spring is a magical time, the flowers are so beautiful and are only here for a little time... The daffodils are already gone, now it's the bluebells turn. And of course blossoming trees! They look and smell divine! We were on our way to have a look at the bluebells and couldn't help but stop to play with a blossoming tree. Again, not here for long, and makes us appreciate it more!

Bluebells mini session.

Last spring I was so busy that I haven't had a chance to have bluebells mini sessions, so this year I have decided to make sure I don't miss them. I love the results from the mini sessions I have run 2 years ago and really missed having them last year.

So this year bluebell mini-sessions will be on the 26th of April, I will have 4 time slots - 9 am, 9.45 am, 10 am, 10.45 am.

A mini session lasts around 25-30 minutes and works best for families with up to 2 children. If you  have more than 2 children or if you have a baby who can't sit up yet I would recommend booking full session that lasts up to 2 hours. 
It’s a good chance to try what is this on location lifestyle photography all about, to update your family photographs (or just your children’s for the parents who don’t want to be photographed).

Mini session is £170 per family, it includes:

-      30 mins mini session in a gorgeous bluebells location (Bradley Stoke);

-      the results of your session in secure online gallery with 10-15 fully images to choose from;

-      3 of the images that you choose printed up to size 6x9” and the same images on CD in high resolution (which alone makes it an extremely good deal as my usual price for 1 high resolution image is £50).
