Spring Blaise Castle Adventure

Blaise Castle ground is one of my favourite places both to photograph and just to spend time with my children. I have photographed there numerous times but there are so many places to explore and such a variety of backgrounds that it's never the same.
It was one of those days when it looks a lot warmer than it is due to wind. Se we were trying to keep the girls warm while having fun.

The family wanted to have a change of clothes into tradition Indian outfits - I was very excited about it! We went back to their house so they can change and carried on with the session at their back garden. As much as I love Blaise castle, I loved this part of the session even more.

Since I have taken such a long time to blog the images, I have already had a chance to see the printed images. The prints are so beautiful, I hope I will be able to see the framed images arrangement we have designed on their wall.

Spring is here!

How lucky are we to have this most amazing weather! It feels more like summer and I can't believe we had to wear jackets last week... We had a beautiful day at Westonbirt Arboretum, enjoying all the blossoms. Spring doesn't last long and we are soaking in, every bit of sun. I will definitely blog my favourites from it, but here is one, blending in with the blossoms, the sun, the leaves:

Family of three

It was a lovely warm autumn morning, we ended up not being at the location we have previously planned, attracted by the lovely alley at Clifton. A morning of throwing leaves, exploring and making dinosaur noises :) Here are some of my favourites from the session, although there are so much more that I love!

Bubble fun

It's hard to believe it, but this session happened on one of those crazy days when it's sunny one minute and rains straight after. We had to take cover under some trees and the umbrella wasn't just a prop but a necessity!

I love looking back at the happy sunny summer photographs, it's cold and dark outside now in December, but spring will come and it's a good time to start planning session with your own family now...

A lovely couple in Bristol

I don't photograph couples very often, mostly as a part of a family session, but I'm so glad I did this session. We went to Clifton Bridge on the evening of balloon fiesta hoping the balloons would go up and provide us with a beautiful backdrop but it didn't happen due to the rain. Looking at the bright side, all the crowds have disappeared once it has started raining. There was still enough people left who were cheering for Paul and giving him thumbs up because Vanessa looked just so beautiful!

We then drove to Bristol harbour and spend some time around SS Great Britain. Shall I mention it was pouring as we drove but thankfully the rain has stopped soon after we have arrived. It turned out that their 2nd date was there, so it's a special place for them.

This is just a selection of my favourites from the session, I have resisted the urge to share all of them!
